Central Michigan University (CMU) Women is the successor organization to CMU Faculty Dames. The organization provides several social activies during the year as well as small group activities to allow members to become better acquainted. The name of the organization changed in Sept. 1998, to accommodate wives of CMU administrators and faculty, as well as women who are themselves CMU administrators and faculty. The records of the CMU Faculty Dames are also housed in the Clarke Historical Library....

Maybee was a history professor at CMU. The Clarke Historical Library has several of his publications and his papers. The Advisory Committee developed plans for major events, publications, re-dedications of campus buildings, presentations, and a historical marker for CMU's 75th Anniversary. The Awards Screening Committee reviewed nominations of people who had contributed significantly in some way to CMU, selected honorees, and organized a presentation ceremony and plaque for each honoree.
